Great speakers, but the app wont connect to my speakers. When I connect it from Bluetooth it works, but not from the app

It use to work fine. Now I wont be able to really use my pulse 2 until a new update is released :(

It looks like I have some of the same problems as others. My app does recognize my pulse 2 and Xtreme just fine. But when I connect them (and the light indicates they are connected) the pulse is the only one that plays music. Very annoying, but Im sure itll get fixed, right? Thats why we pay so much for the speakers is that they have a good team and good apps to support them.

Isnt there a way to disconect other phones from my xtreme or just give a certain device an admin function over the speaker, it is very irritating when I play music and someone else thats connected starts playing music.

won’t pair w iPhone via bluetooth, got as a gift and sad it doesnt work.

Wont even connect to the jbl pluse 2

The app is a nifty way to interact with my Pulse 2 speaker. The very small issue that I have with it is when I am playing music and I change the lighting effect, the music shuts off. I dont have any ambient sounds downloaded, so I dont know how to fix that. Not a big issue though. Its a great app that works nicely with a great speaker.

Even tho my iPhone is connected to my Charge3, this app will not connect. Waste of time.

The app cant "discover" the Flip 3. Ive tried at least 10 times.

Just got my pulse 2 and was looking forward to all of the cool features in the app but as I can see from what other people are saying they are having the same problem I am. The app is not working and will not recognize my pulse 2.

With the new Pulse 2 update, I now have access to the equalizer and waves mode, along with better audio quality. On comments questioning the Bluetooth, you must open you settings, go to Bluetooth, and CLICK on your device! It does not connect automatically! Items such as adjusting bass, treble, and mid are NOT accessible (4 star), but is said to be accessible in the JBL music app that I am downloading and will write a review on shortly after tests. The connectivity between app and speaker seems spot on while the app may only be needed to update the speaker, and not used every time you use your Pulse 2 speaker (buttons are preset onto speaker after update). HOWEVER, the app WILL NOT connect sometimes. In order to fix this, turn off your Bluetooth and speaker and attempt to reconnect over and over till it connects. This mainly happens when more than 1 device is being used on the speaker.

Im giving this 2 stars because it works. But with only a few of JBLs speakers... Please make it work with the charge 2+, or others!

My comments echo others in the reviews. I have an iPhone 5s running iOS 9.3.2 paired successfully via Bluetooth to the Flip 3. The app never finds the speaker. Ive done several things including killing the app, turning Bluetooth off and on, disconnecting the speaker from Bluetooth, and turning off the phone and starting everything over. It never works.

iOS 9.3.2 App version 1.7.005 Pros: -Found both speakers -Able to rename them -Updated firmware Cons: -When both connected and I adjust the volume up/down either on speaker or via App,one speaker studders for about 10 seconds ... Really annoying -App doesnt tell you info per speaker, e.g. Battery life, firmware -App shows left right speaker but no way to adjust volume or balance to one side when needed -App has no equalizer -You need another app to use as alarm/wake up feature Bottomline: -App works -App has potential to be better with a little more testing before being released -App would be World Class with a few more features

For starters, I have to update my Pulse 2 EVEY TIME I turn it back on... Very annoying. Also, the speaker WONT TURN OFF if it has not yet been updated. If it has not yet been upgraded after its turned on the button on the speaker will be unresponsive. Harmon PLEASE FIX!

This app is a useless pos! Dear Harman, Please get out of the professional lighting industry and concentrate on home entertainment. I purchased the Extreme and the Flip 3 which are incredible for what they are. It seems like the app cant deal with the 2 paired together. I can only select 1 speaker to rename it and the Party button doesnt do anything. Im not sure if its in Party or Stereo mode. There is no way to change channels like the manual says either. The Extreme constantly cuts out when it is paired but I dont think it has to do with the app. THIS APP DOESNT DO ANYTHING BUT WASE TIME!

I have 2 Flip 3s that I play in my office and had a couple of quirks at first until I found that you must follow these steps and the sound from 2 of these together is incredible. 1. Open JBL connect app 2. Turn one the first speaker and let it connect to Bluetooth. 3. App will then discover the first speaker. 4. Then turn on 2nd speaker and let it connect to Bluetooth. 5. Select "JBL connect" on app and then push the connect buttons on both speakers simultaneously. 6. Once both speakers since they will appear in the app as L and R speakers. 7. Open your music streaming app once both speakers are synced and showing in the app screen. ENJOY THE TUNES.!!! Awesome sound with 2 of them together. NOTE: This is IPhone 6. I dont know about other phones or operating systems.
