Not seeing the new light themes?

I updated to the new software as I was prompted on my iPhone. Every song misses the first 1 second of an intro when I skip through my playlist from my iPhone and iPad.

After updating , open the app itself and on the main screen there is a icon over your speaker that needs you to do a 30 min update to the speaker itself. The speaker needs to be plugged into the wall. I myself have completed and it now has thee equalizer working as I type this.

Update your speaker go in your app and once you see a speaker click the bottom one it should look like this ( ! ) that icon it will take 30mins to update your speaker, the two new ones are equalizer and waves. So update date your speaker to get them, I have them because I update my speaker.

2 new light shows- equalizer and waves just update app and update speaker. 30 min speaker update from the app. Enjoy!

Have it charging and the open the app. Update icon should be there. Equalizer (finally) and Wave. Very vibrant colors! Personally I love the Wave theme better, far more intense.

The app does not allow switchng JBL xtreme to mono sound, which substantially improves speakers performance to next level. This would be convenient as there is no stereo effect on one speaker anyway (as the left and righ drivers are too close to each other). The app is more or less only for people who own two speakers, and surprisingly in paired speakers mode it allows switching each speaker to mono sound mode (in connected stereo mode).

Thats so cool!! It got new functions when it updated!!! Wouldnt mind seeing another update in the future with another function! But wow thats cool I wasnt expecting the update!! Love equalizer and wave so much!!! The color camera thing takes a little while to get the hang of to grab colors, but Ive figured it out now and its so fun to show people! I really love this speaker its so fun & The app is neat how you can change the color function in it, if anything the canvas one needs tweaking to me and I wish the color you grab stays when you switch between functions so you dont have to grab it again. The update was a little bit of a pain that I cant do other things on my phone while it updates the speaker but it was worth it in the end! Again, would love to see more updates in the future!!!

Its unfortunate that the people who got the charge 2+ right before the extreme cant benefit from this I bought an extreme with assumption it could allow me to pair with any jbl device I was wrong JBL find a way to allow this to work with charge 2+ please!!

The new light shows are awesome i was very happy with it until today that the app crash and the new themes are gone !!! Please fix this i love my speaker and the new themes please bring them back!!!

My Pulse 2 is connected to my iphone but it doesnt show on the app whatsoever. Fix it please!

I dont see the reason for this app except if you have 2 JBL speakers. You can rename your speaker, big deal. Its good for software updates I guess but when you update, theres zero notes as to what that update adds as far as: new features, bugs it squashed, improvements, etc. So youre left in the dark as far as what your software update just accomplished. Pointless app.

I was excited for this all so I could use the equalizer and hopefully change the volume on the speaker without changing the volume on my phone. I downloaded the app, connected it to my speaker, then updated the speaker. Turns out the only options I have in the app are to rename the speaker and to connect a second speaker. Where is the equalizer? Is it possible to change the volume on the speaker without changing the volume of my phone?

it would make my life a lot easier if I could turn off these lights with the app! i love the rest but this functionality would make it MUCH more amazing!

After the 9.3 update on my iPhone, my pulse 2 will not connect to the app, Ive tried connecting on different iPhones before updating to 9.3 and it works flawlessly, even on my iPad, PLEASE FIX

The app cannot find my JBL Flip 3 even though its connected to my phone.

Never discovered my pulse 2 with my iPhone SE even though I was connected with Bluetooth and everything

I was recommended to this app by a friend we has a JBL Xtreme, so I thought it would work fine. When I downloaded the app it would work. Its constantly searches for my speaker. I have a JBL Charge 2+ and an iPhone 5s so I dont know what the problem is. If it gets fixed than the app would be great.
