Whats the point in an app thats supposed to manage the speaker when it can never find it. Trying to connect to a new xtreme which has the latest firmware according to their HID software. Sounds like a great speaker as I have no BT connection issues just a waste of space app. iPhone 6S 9.3.2

Please push out a update so we can turn off the annoying sounds on my xtreme and charge 3.

I have iPhone 6 with the latest 9.3.2 iOS. I could pair the JBl 3 flip with an iPhone and play music, but the application still couldnt find the device. Tried to hard reboot iPhone, reset network settings, re-pair. Nothing helped.

Bought two charge 3s and this app works fine for what it is supposed to do. Found my speakers easily enough and there is a huge difference between party and stereo mode. Stereo sounds great with the speakers set about 10ft apart at the pool. The mode actually sounds a little louder than party mode.

I would love to see the JBL clip

This app really doesnt do anything if you only have a single JBL speaker. The only thing it will do is update the firmware on your speaker. This ha dinky happened once on my Charge 3. They really need to bring it up to feature parity with the UE Boom app. My biggest request is that they give the option to turn the speaker on from the app. The Charge 3 is a better speaker than the UE Boom and the UE Megaboom, but this app is far behind.

It cant find my JBL Pulse :(

I dont know why there are so many 1 stars... This app works amazing. Suggest 1: On the "stars" display instead of having to press the screen to make the shooting stars come some should already shoot randomly. Suggest 2: Rainbow color button for all the displays.

I just purchased the pulse 2 and this app is worthless. The pulse 2 is connected to Bluetooth and the app cant pick it up. Sure wish the developers could get it right. It would be nice to control the lighting in the bedroom from a distance.

I just got a pair of JBL flip 3 , sound is amazing, no complaints there but,, they keep flickering when connected together via Bluetooth, I seen Im not the only one having this issue, please , Harman / JBL fix this issue, I really like the sound and the concept of using 2 at the same time as stereo, I will hate to return them for just this flicker issue. Thank you!

This app has been plagued with connection issues for your speaker. Ive had a Pulse 2 since its release and this app has connected to it ONCE. Avoid JBL speakers! This app was a big selling point of the Pulse 2, every update seems to ignore this connection issue!

Can someone please explain to me what the point of having an APP that doesnt work? Absolutely does not sync with my phone. I can still use the speaker which is the only thing keeping from throwing it in the garbage. How about an update to make it work like its supposed too.

No clue why other reviewers were experiencing problems connecting the app to their speaker but I have a JBL Pulse 2 and it connects almost every time. It it doesnt connect I simply restart the speaker and turn bluetooth on my phone off then back on. I think the most excellent attribute of this speaker and its respective app is the fact that they both have software that can be updated leaving room for more improvements. Another update would be nice though seeing as how there hasnt been one since they added the waves and equalizer update to the speaker

A little slow to recognize the speaker on occasion, but usually does with some patience. Works as advertised. Not sure what more people are expecting out of this. I agree, it would be nice to be able to apply an equalizer to my pair of xtremes, but youd likely have to directly connect to each to adjust the equalizer, rather than communicate the settings over JBL connect. I wouldnt mind though!

I have the pulse 2 and I really like the speaker overall. My main complaint comes with the lights. The whole reason I bought it was because a friend of mine had the original pulse. The connect app that comes with that one has way cooler light effects built in. The are more active and interesting to look at. I also liked the ability to choose the color from within the app. Please give us some cooler effects to use with the pulse 2! Bring back the original equalizer and even some of the other lighting effects from the original pulse. I would love he speaker even more than I already do. The only other thing I would add is that I wish you could turn off the lights from within the JBL connect app as well. Sometimes Im laying in bed listening to music and enjoying the show and I dont want to get up and turn the thing off. It would even be cool if you could add a feature where the speaker turns off after 30 minutes of inactivity, like the original! Other than those few pieces of feedback, Id say the speaker and app work well together. I dont have any issues connecting and the app is easy to navigate. Just wish that I could do more with the lights. Its the best feature of the speaker hands down, and it could be way better.

As other reviewers have stated, it doesnt connect to your device.

They improved the Pulse sound and ruined the light show. No more cool light effects to sync w the beat, chill, club, etc. I would hate to be the product manager that ruined the primary value prop for this product. Maybe we will get lucky and a JBL exec will actually read these reviews and invest a few developer hours to improve this poor app.

From pro audio products that I use with my dj company to my car audio with all the speakers replaced with jbl woofers, even an external subwoofer, this application is lacking the quality that I know harmon products have. They really dropped the ball on this application. There should be way more customization within this application to at least turn the led lights on and off on the jbl pulse 2. There is nothing but some lame pre made light show that doesnt even include the equalizer. Wake up harmon products and FIX THIS APP.
